AVGL Takes Main Stage at DreamHack Atlanta

The DreamHack + AVGL Collegiate Series is returning to the DreamHack Atlanta main stage for the third consecutive year. Over the last three years, the AVGL has run college esports tournaments at six DreamHack US events, drawing hundreds of teams, thousands of fans, and premier partners to the main stage.

As part of the DreamHack + AVGL Collegiate Series, the AVGL will develop premium college esports competition and content for League of Legends and Fortnite. On Saturday, November 16th, Columbia College will face off against Harrisburg University in the AVGL League of Legends Community Grand Final. The match up is the result of a 128-team, qualifying bracket that was played online leading up to the event.

On Sunday, November 17th, 12 collegiate Fortnite teams will represent their universities by competing in grudge matches. Teams of 2 will compete in an elimination race style event. Fortnite players should fill out this form if they are interested in participating and 12 duos will be chosen to compete.

All the action will be livestreamed on Twitch.tv/dreamhack starting at 2pm ET on Saturday and 10am ET on Sunday. Attendees can purchase tickets on the DreamHack website to watch the action live on stage.
