Game Format

We've decided to run the 6 v 6 game format and as indicated in our poll, it was pretty clear that the majority were interested in a season format with one match a week. If participation warrants, we'd be more than happy to add another skill division in future seasons.  As usual, we're going to collect feedback throughout the season and we are more than willing to make changes as needed for future events.

Class Limits:

- 2 Scouts

- 2 Soldiers

- 2 Pyros

- 1 Demoman

- 1 Heavy

- 1 Engineer

- 1 Medic

- 2 Snipers

- 2 Spies

Weapon Restrictions:

We'll be posting a complete list of weapon restrictions in the coming days, but we're interested in hearing your feedback on this in the comments below.

Prizes:

As this is the first season on our new website, Season 1 will not have a prize pool. Throughout Season 1 we'll guage participation and support for each individual game title, and as we move into future seasons & events, we hope to introduce multiple skill divisions and prizes for our featured games where participation is strongest.  In the mean time, teams competing in the season 1 playoffs will be offered guaranteed moveups to new skill divisions created for next season and preferred seeding in any off-season events that we host.

Comments

Do you anticipate a separate topic for weapon bans or do you anticipate holding it on this post within the comments? EDIT: Also, when can some of these rules get thrown on the Rules page so "Coming Soon" is longer there?
