iBUYPOWER Announce Spring 2018 NA CS:GO $16,000 Invitational (March 17-18)

We're proud to announce that CEVO will again host the iBUYPOWER Spring 2018 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive $16,000 Invitational! The iBUYPOWER Spring 2018 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive $16,000 Invitational is an online CS:GO tournament taking place on Saturday, March 17th & Sunday, March 18th, 2018  showcasing some of the best Professional CS:GO teams from all across North America.

The tournament features an 8-team single elimination best-of-three (bo3) map bracket, where the top teams in North America will fight for their share of the $16,000 prize pool!

We’ll be broadcasting the tournament live on at twitch.tv/ibuypower all weekend long with commentary and analysis from Dust “dusT" Mouret, Keith “SeasideCS” Lafortune, Will "Topical" Dallas and Evan "emode" Patrao with in-game observing from Adam "LATORRyo” Latorraca and Alex "dashnerrr" Pylyshyn.

1st Place - $10,000.00
2nd Place - $4,000.00
3rd/4th Place - $1,000.00
3rd/4th Place - $1,000.00

1) The home team will act as Team A
2) Team A bans one map.
3) Team B bans one map.
4) Team A picks map #1 (side choice to Team B)
5) Team B picks map #2 (side choice to Team A)
6) Team B bans one map.
7) Team A picks map #3 out of the two that remain (side choice to Team B).

Note: the tournament will utilize Valve's active duty map pool of de_mirage, de_cache, de_inferno, de_overpass, de_train, de_cbble, and de_nuke

iBUYPOWER will be hosting a live viewing party experience for the Invite on Saturday March 17th at the UC Irvine Esports Arena from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Come out and join us for a jam-packed day of freeplay, swag giveaways, and more!
